  1. A little playtime at The Rolls, NE of Phoenix

Okay, so the Hummer guy did the filming so it's just two Jeeps in the video - Jason and Timgco. Jason's is gray, Tim's is black.

AZ - Sat May 15, Walnut Canyon

Okay, without Crown King being available let's schedule for Walnut Canyon, east of Phoenix. It's a moderate, scenic trail according to Funtreks. https://funtreks.com/off-road-trails/walnut-canyon/

    Replaced right side suspension today

After TWO recent alignments at Firestone, the bolts for the right upper control arm were not tight. They blamed a disintegrated bushing, which sounded like BS, but a new UCA from Rockauto is less...

I suspect not any year, since the 08 had the 6.2 and 07 and earlier had a 6.0, and GM tends to do little changes over time. I would guess any L92 (the 2008 engine code) wiring harness would work.

That's the question in my head as well. I wonder if the cable to the starter has failed, perhaps become corroded over time. I had that happen on an old Chevy 350. Again, I don't know electronics that...

It's the 1.6 that I didn't like, from channels 15-20 if I recall correctly. It was great on 1-7 and 21-22

Did a short tuning session with the 38" whip. Out of the box I was getting 1.2-1.3 on some channels, and 1.6 on others. I tried lengthening a bit, and it got worse. So I shorted it a bit, and it got...

Broom connector under the under-hood fuse panel? Known to come loose especially if it's ever been previously disconnected. Just a wild guess.

What makes this more curious to me is how everything...

Nope, nothing in the middle. It's the outer edge of each ear that holds the bushing and it's sleeve.

If I recall correctly, the bushings should already be in a metal sleeve that then gets pressed into the frame. If you removed bushings only, then perhaps the sleeves are still in the frame?
