This has bothered me since 2006 when I got a rock caught in there running 33's. Came up again when I installed 315's. Came up again when I ordered chains for the 315's. Ok, that's it, mod time, get out the grinder. I was prepared to weld and caulk whatever was under there. Turns out no welding required, already caulked, only needed a little blast of non-reflective nature color camo black and a good coat of mud.
I had hope and I got change, three pieces fell out.

Drivers side is easy, pass side the grinder rotates so you might catch your hair on fire! Wore a face shield and should have worn a hat!
Just another Hunner tweak mod.

Nice mod Hunner.

I'm going to have to look at the H3T and see if I have the same problem. Especially when I go to 35" tires.

Or you could just ride on 33s :)

Thanks for showing the work involved so others can do this mod.

I was planning on doing the same thing. :) Good to see a write up so I know I won't get any surprises. Thanks.
