What's the best way to fix H2 SUT Tonneau?

Just going through the SUT and noticed that the screws that hold the tonneau cover locking mechanism to the top of the cover are missing and/or backed out. A few were missing and found one screw, but it seems it is stripped out. Does this happen? Should I just go with a bigger screw or add a few new screws to the piece? Not sure what else to do...Any suggestions?

I have the same exact issue with mine. One side has two of them that have backed out. Did you come up with a solution yet?

no not as of yet. The weather is finally getting better here, so I can actually take off the cover and do a repair. The aluminum is to weak to even hold with a larger body screw. The only thing I can think of is to do some sort of steel plate on the top of the tonneau. Make it look like it belongs there, and bolt through. I'll post up once I come up with a solution.
