Great video. I'd like to have a camper that is more off road capable than the typical ones. Heck, I'd like to have a camper :)

These fellas put their camper and truck to the test.. Truck does very well for its size.. Would rather see the camper behind a Hummer, but still a nice setup.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&v=wk6KJXeOM0k&NR=1

Here is my camper.......Not quite the same, but its behind a Hummer.............. I wanted something with good bones and the same wheel track as the hummer (for going through the soft sand). I also wanted the tandem as 4 wheels will help you get through the tuff stuff. Suspension is independent on each side and is mounted up & out of the way. You can see the articulation in this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D79J14m6Dwg

Also............ Some of the subtleties in the first video you may not have been aware of............ Did you notice near the end of the first video how they were running in the water to snatch/winch the vehicle out ??? Far North Queensland has salt water crocodiles, I bet when you watch it again you would be running also. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWktaMAHsr4

Thats a nice trailer. So what is the difference between quads or doubles on a trailer?

In this case of my trailer the load stays level as the suspension rocks back & forth. Also 4 wheels = more load & better balance. Better also for sand & soft stuff as the 4 tyres give more support. Better grip and not as terrifying if a tyre blows out, etc.

Nice trailer! The tandem axles also reduce the overhang, so you get better approach and departure angles on the trailer. Very nice set-up!

Great video!

Going on a long range expedition like that, making do with what I brought, is on my bucket list for sure. You guys down under really have some amazing nature to venture out into.
