Coyote Canyon in Moab has been approved as a designated trail by the BLM. However, there are very extreme restrictions on the trails usage such as a limit of 7 vehicles per day, advance permit required, and completely closed for a couple of months in the winter.
The Utah 4 Wheel Drive Association and Moab Friends for 4 Wheeling have invested significant time and money into keeping this trail open and we believe the current trail restrictions are unfair and unnecessary.
