Jerry S (H3), ces1946 (h2), Sean (TJ Unlimited), Jason (TJ) and I went out and ran a blend of Hackberry Creek and Powerline Trails yesterday. Parts of Hackberry have been bladed for mining operations and there's one part of Powerline Trail I don't want to do again - going uphilll on a particular rocky stretch. Here's what we did two years ago.

We did go down that stretch of trail this time as we ran the trail in reverse. Sean did a great job outlining and leading this trail.

Lots of scenery on the trail, several bumpy rocky sections, a few obstacles and some good opportunities for pinstriping.

A carefully balanced rock. Note the little trestle that was built to keep the rock from tipping over

I didn't get much good video. I forgot that the iPhone really doesn't like being hooked up to the front of the truck and seems to be affected by the engine or electrics - it came out all wavy.

Here's ces1946 and Jason going up the Waterfall on the Powerline trail.

I'm with Mikkel, I seriously need to get on the trails again. The vid and pics were awesome! Nice mix of different type of terrain not to mention some spectacular views.

Thanks for sharing!

As I recall, Sean indicated Indian lore suggests a young boy shot an arrow through this rock to prove his love for a young girl?

Here's hoping your journey was as enjoyable as ours. Thanks to Sean, Jerry, Tim, Jason, and Alex. You're all great off-roaders.
