Is that the Solid Industries HP? I tried to find one but they no longer make them.

The 44 housings have been discontinued due to lack of demand.

I believe it is. The owner of that build called them and them do a run of that axle I think.

If you want a high pinion... Get a Ford F-150 front axle...77-up. Pull the tubes out and retube it to match a GM housing.

I’ve done several (and also two Solid Industries pumpkins)...frankly I like the Ford casting better. It’s smaller and they are everywhere for next to nothin.

It’s a lot of work but, it works good.

Would Currie or dynatrac just sell the centersection?

Another one to look at is Fusion 4x4 axles. They seem to do one offs. I’d just ask for a D44 with tubes in em and then you can cut the length.
