Problem with 12 volt plugs.

I tow my H2 behind my motorhome when I travel. I use a Brakebuddy for supplemental braking. When I plug it in it has power but apparently not enough for the compressor to come on and build air pressure. I know it has power because a light will come on. I know the brakebuddy works because when I plug it into a plug in the motorhome the compressor kicks on like it should. Any suggestions?

Wire straight to the battery and test. Also, when you talk about 12V plugs are you talking about the old cigarette lighter adapter thingys? I don't like to run much power through there. Too easy to trip a fuse.

If the battery test works, consider keeping it up there but using a Blue Sea fuse block, or using an Add a Fuse in the fuse block.
