I've got some unusual ones - a Puma K12 bullpup shotgun and a Glock 22 with a Roni kit on it.

Had the opportunity to shoot the my new 365 for the first time the other day. Its nice, with decent ergonomics but I gotta say: My CZ still functions WAY smoother and *feels* tighter and more precise

The 365 is small, maybe a little snappy, but a great CC pistol. I shoot mine very well and carry it most of the time. Sometimes I go with my G43 but like the Sig better.

Found a nice holster from a company I hadn't heard about before: Muddy River Tactical. It's a very comfortable IWB holster and is clearly a quality product.

Santa brought a CZ Shadow 2 Compact. I like it. Maybe a bit heavy for daily carry but we'll see. It shoots really really nicely.

Saving up for an M&P 10mm for backpack fishing expeditions.

Encountered too many bears on the rubicon, and also when I camped up in sequoia a couple days prior to it. Planning on a northern Idaho fly fishing trip that I’ll need protection for.

I saw a great 'reaction time' exercise. They had a bears face on a motorized skid that was setup to charge at the same speed as a grown grizzly. On avg wheel guns got off 1-2 rounds, semi's 2-3, but half the shots went wide. It was sobering.

Got to start the break-in period for my new stocking stuffer, an AR12. Looking to increase the take on our annual hog hunts.

We used to do a timed exercise to lower reaction time and increase accuracy. 1" target repair patch in the forehead and 1" patch in center mass. You had two seconds to draw and get off two shots. You could pick which patch you went for.

Picked up a Sig P320 X5 Legion at my indoor gun range. Twice a year they have a member's only sale where they give great discounts. I picked up the Sig P320 Legion for about half price, $550.00. Hell of a deal. I paid over $1100.00 for my other Legions. Didn't have time to stay and run any rounds through it as the checkout process with all the gun purchases that day ate up my time.
Republic Gun Range, Woodway, Texas. Great place. 100 yard indoor range, onsite gunsmithing, members lounge with free refreshments, beer and wine tastings, very nice gun shop. If you are ever in the area you should stop by.

Hi all, new to this site but a seasoned outdoorsman. I live in the woods on the Canadian border on my 1/4 section of land and when I get dressed in the morning I always put my CZ P09 duty in its holster before I go out the door. I have shot many different brands of pistols and caliber’s. My CZ is my favorite simply because it hit what I point it at. I have a long history with firearms and have enough for any encounter. I generally don’t shoot around my home because I like to see the elk, bears and other wildlife that I share this property with. The thing that is happening as the politicians erode our rights away is getting parts for weapons that we have used for decades. I find myself going to Idaho to get parts for repairs for the black guns that we use. Here in Washington they now have a pre purchase permit for buying any firearms and if you are buying black rifles you have to attend a class before you can purchase them.
I bought my wife a H-3 6 years ago and it has turned into the primary vehicle for winter travel and I have grown to really enjoy it on nasty roads or off roads. I have 3 other 4x4’s but the Hummer is hands down the best one I’ve ever owned. On another note I have opened my front door several times to be face to face with a black bear and a cougar once. I leave them alone as long as they don’t bother the family or my dogs.

Welcome to H40! I don't shoot animals just to shoot. If I am not going to eat them and they don't act they want to eat me we co-exist. ( except for rattlesnakes by the house or barn, they all die ) I am fortunate enough to live in the great state of Texas. We are not burdened with crazy libtard gun regulations. At the Republic Gun Range member event they had a really nice CZ. Ergonomically it was perfect but it was pretty hefty. I almost bought it also but the weight of the pistol had me leave it on the counter. I was thinking of it as a shoulder holster pistol but I don't wear a shoulder holster enough to need another pistol for them. I have friends with them that really like them.
