Hey guys of my first car i bought a hummer h3. its a 2008 hummer h3(128k) h3x with the luxury package. I bought it with a four inch Rancho lift, a gobi roof rack, 35in mud tires. Can anyone tell me how i can get better mpg for this set up?
Thanks

The rack and tires are the biggest issues with your mpg .... A good a/t tire will be better than an m/t . I love my bfg m/t tires but they did cost my a good 2-3 mpg ... And if you want to keep your rack ( and they are very useful ) buy or make a good wind deflector for the front . Oh you do know that you are driving a rolling brick , there is NOTHING arodinanic about an H3 . The fun of a hummer will more than make up for the lack of mpg .

I have a Hypertech and I'm not going to say it helped with mpg , but I can adjust for tire sizes , shift points , rpm , etc . So for those reasons I like it a lot .

I was getting 14 city/16 highway with a bone stock 3.5 2006 H3. You sound like you are right in the money with all that additional stuff. I'm currently getting 13/14 with a 5.3.

Really the only way is to shed all the heavy aftermarket products that are heavy. From what I see that would be the arb bumper, rock rails, get rid of the roof rack and put A/T tires on. If it was me I would leave it as is and drive it. At least you are off road ready assuming you have UCP.

10k since he needed to commute 40miles a day. The only things that were wrong were that i need an alignment and 1 new tire.

Sounds like you have lead foot. Honestly, most people don't realize that you're vehicle is just short of driving a full size truck. This isn't a race car, it's a big SUV, drive it like it and the gas mileage will reflect that. All-in-all it is a Hummer, they're famous for not getting great gas mileage.
