I still run my H3 Lux/Adv in the summer time, my now 4 and 6 year old girls love it. I can remember when I first bought it in 2008, it was a graduation present to myself after completing engineering school. I joined a HummerXClub then(most or all of us eventually moved over to here) and saw a trip to Moab happening that I could make time for. Without meeting anyone prior, Beebs instructed me over the phone on the parts I needed to have mailed to this guy "Steve's" house in Moab and that there would be able hands there to quickly fit them. With 388 miles on the odometer I departed Golden, CO, and about an hour after parking at "The Outpost", Rick White had most of the skids off to replace with upgraded parts. What a great community that was and still is. Steve and I remained friends for years. I know Steve took off for Beaverton after the fire, and I believe changed his number.

Hey Buddy, It's Brookings Oregon and I still have the old number. Just talked to Speedy, those were great times, how you been Rob?

"Moab Firewood" still brings up my number if you need it in an emergency. Congrats on the family. I still have my H3 it's the beach dog hauler when we don't walk down. I just put some new 35's on about a year or two ago, the old Toyo's finally wore out. My truck turned 20 years old this year. Time flies man. You knew the H1 burned in the wildfire, that was a bummer. Still no smartphone, call anytime I have an answering machine. I'll always remember when we floated the Colorado river LOL!!!

Hi Steve! Life has been good, girls are getting on the ski hill and can go down behind me, and they are just now of the age where they can spend all day outdoors. I imagine Moab trips will be back on the radar soon. I went to MTRs a few years ago, and still deal with the consistent leaks from the Hutchinson beadlocks. I've tried everything, resurfacing with CNC, new o-rings, those things just leak. I pump them up once a week or so before heading out if I head out. I came across that photo the other day, for those that didnt see photos, we went and got some $8 inflatable pool lounge chairs and floated the Colorado from about Big bend down to town and got caught in a vicious wind storm that came out of nowhere right at the end. I'll have to scan that in tonight. Mine is getting up there in years, it is a 2007 with the 3.7. Taking it elk hunting to Telluride next week.

Rugged, the forum software and database changed years ago so the old, old stuff is gone. Glad to see you pop in!

No serious off-roading; not in a Chevy Trail Boss....
Drove by your old place, Steve, sure has changed.
Moab, itself; not so much

It's good to see the faces and rigs again. We had a damn blast running those trails together. Great times! I've still got the H2 I bought from Timgco. It has almost 300,000 and is still running strong on 40's. Best overall vehicle I've ever owned. When the time comes, it'll get a new engine and when the paint finally goes, I'm going to Rhino-Line the exterior and keep it for wheelin'. Leave it to Neo to get everybody together again. We could use a good fire.
