A pillar trim mod

After a few different lame attempts to fix the A pillar trim from lifting up I decided to do a better fix. My previous attempts included Gorilla tape that worked for a few months, heavy duty velcro with mixed results then finally small sheet metal screws, they actually held up well. I used some scrap 16 ga steel and then JB Weld 2 smaller pieces to give some strength to the trim and used 5mm nut zerts to be able to remove when needed. After some highway runs I only get a little passenger side hum at 70+mph. A little black RTV to hide my previous attempts and all is good.

I went with nutserts too, one up top and one half way up the A pillar. Good long-term fix but also makes it easy to replace the windshield glass.
