Most of you know Gator from HXC, a few years back Gator got to do the 4 Wheel & Offroad Ultimate Adventure event & got bitten by the expo bug, He’s been planning trips ever since. Last year we started w/ FEW (Fla Expedition Wheelers) where we went across central Fla using as little pavement as possible & camping out each night. A friend of Gator’s, Jay Kopycinski came along & he happens to write for 4 Wheel Drive & SUV magazine so Mark’s H3 & my T got little magazine time, the article was split between 2 editions

Next on Gator’s list was to get out of our wonderfully flat state so we headed to Ga. This one was called FAR (Fla Adventure Rigs) & We hit Durhamtown Plantation & Beasley Knob

That's awesome! How did the 3 and 3T do overall? It seems like there was a range of rigs, some of them very built.

We did fine, the Fla trip was all easy trails. Me being the longest truck added to my scratch & dent collection and took out my p/s mirror. Everyone running under 40" tires got some winch time in the muddy sections. At Beasley Knob The black & green jeep snapped a rear axle & Mark took out a half shaft & front diff, I wasn't near by when it happened so not exactly sure what caused it.

You're on a list alright the "I got 3 kids, a wife & a job" list :mock:

My wife would call it a different list, as I am usually on her sh!t list. I promise the stars will align and we will make one of these next trips. Especially once Dylan gets past all this medical crap, we will get back to regular wheeling. Trust me he is on my ass about it all the time. The truck has been in pretty rough shape lately, front diff bushing is way past shot and just about every seal is leaking. Hopefully I can get the Scorpworks new cross member from Dwaine soon so we can get back to wheeling.
