There should be six total if I remember correctly. Two outside just inboard of the head lights. Two under the hood at the edges of the radiator and two nuts under the hood just above the headlight. There should also be clips on the turn signal area that u have to pry out.there is an inner grill secured by four bolts once u get the main grill off. Have fun

Just did that on a Walmart parking lot in Frisco, Texas. Didn't even get arrested!
Four 10mm bolts and the rest pull off with a careful tug. White snap in's are available if you break one. I suggest warm weather.
There are four plastic studs with metal clips that pull out also, across the bottom about in the center area.

You say walmart has the white snap ins? My white grill is missing two, i was simply going to take them from the chrome grill.

No I got those for another grill at a parts store. Bumper to Bumper here carries them. They just slide in. I just met someone at Walmart under the parking lot lights to make a swap! Ha ha gone in sixty seconds!

Got off the grill, but when I was undoing the clips on the passenger side two metal pieces fell out, I cant find anything similar on the driver side...

Those are body shims. I would guess someone has put those in there to fix a body panel alignment issue...possibly from a previous wreck or something.

This post is just in time for me, as I am getting ready to plastidip my grill as well. After the grill, then it is on to door handles. Let us know with pics how yours turns out. I was going to do mine this week, but it is going to be raining off and on all week.

I think this looks fantastic, never realized how much a bit of plastidip can do for a car. Should've done this with the deuce a LONG time ago haha
