Hello All!

My name is Óscar Guerrero, from Spain with a 2006 Hummer H3 luxury, stock without rear muffler and straight pipe, and currently I am running the Oficial Spain Rally TT Championship, Stock Category. The Hummer is my current daily car, and I reinforced it, with component like:
-Differential bushing kit from Outfitter Design
-Steering Rack Bushing Kit from Outfitter Design
-From cv axles from H3 alpha (new AcDelco ones)
-MOOG Universal Joint

All stock despite of that. In the last race in Jaen we finish 6th. Great for a first race ever, and for the Hummer. Normally I take it to the Sahara desert.

Well! Hope you enjoy the photos and the vids:

If I had to guess maybe 105-135 lbs. When I removed them it did take 2 of us to lift them out but they are also pretty bulky to lift. After having them out I readjusted my MX6 shocks a little softer due to the rear becoming more jittery over bumps.

Nah...rear seats are plastic. Mine is up in the attic of my shop....50-60 lbs. The cargo deck actually weighs more.
If I was to race a "stock" class H3, I would gut the interior, gut the crash bars and window regulators, install lexan glass, beef the ifs with a truss, install OD rack and axle bushings, move the spare inside. I would also remove the airbags, trailer hitch, and make a lift-off carbon fiber hood (if rules allow). Maybe trim 500 lbs.

I agree, I've had mine out twice and they are 100lbs at least.

Bienvenido de parte de un Guanche en exilio. :D Que pena que los Alphas nunca llegaron a España, sino estarías en el podio fijo. A darles caña!

Este foro es el mejor que hay para recursos y información sobre Hummers. Aprovéchalo a tope.
