Jason, Jerry S. and I went up to the Payson, AZ area for Pyeatt Draw trail. It's a fairly short trail that follows a creekbed- usually dry but sometimes there's water, especially at the last obstacle. Sunday it was bone dry but at least it was 10-15 degrees cooler than Phoenix.

Most of the trail is modest and the last obstacle is purpose-built rig territory.
All pics are HERE, but here's a sample

And then The Filter. I had Jerry stand by a couple of the ledges so you could get a good perspective.

We took a, uh, less traveled exit down a lightly used and scratchy trail. It is probably rare that anything larger than a side by side was on this trail

No fancy music on the video since most watchers want to hear the trucks

Hmm, maybe that's why the phone didn't get answered when we called to invite you on this run. :giggle:

Nope, wasn't home to take the call. You didn't leave a message. We moved last Thursday and the Tucson land line will be disconnected at the end of the month. In addition, until we switch over to Verizon Canada, I can only text, email and post on the forum using public wi-fi. The Canadian roaming charges are killers! So far, so good here in Victoria. The taxes are really high but we now get free healthcare. Oh well, life is full of compromises. I am really liking this West Canada gig, eh!

Guess you didn't break anything. No call yet, or you're waiting till Saturday when I'm not working. Was waiting for the video of you trying to take the center of the huge ledge. Very disappointing. But overall, looks like a fun trail
