The expedition outfitters mounts worked good, the only problem was the bolt for the light bar was just a hair bigger than the slot in the mounts. I drilled the slot out and it was good. The H2 sunroof is apparently 40" because the 40" light bar is exactly the width of the sunroof. I still need to wire it up...

Hey Ron, even though I have not been a position to take advantage of this offer (yet),
just wanted to say thanks for your efforts in setting up these buys. They look like
a very nice/economical alternative to other, more expensive units on the market.

thanks guys  they are extremely bright, last night I drove around with them on and no body flashed me and I drove past several cops and they didn't do anything! Next project is going to led the headlights:wink:

How do you plan on doing this? I want to switch every light in my truck over to LED so I'll be staying tuned!!

I had a chance to test out the 40'' on the highway this weekend, had to go pick up my GF from the airport in the wee hours of the morning and I was about 75 km's away from the airport, I managed to take all back roads and had my light bar on for about 100 of the 150km's.... all I can say is WOW! I saw so many critters way up in the distance that I never would have seen with my stock lights alone. Rabbit, fox, white tail deer, mule deer, muskrat... the list goes on.... very cool and made for an interesting trip!

As a plus there is no way to get tired behind the wheel when it looks like its day light out in front of you!

100 km's and no pics  come on man, she was sitting next to you the whole time :giggle:

I still haven't wired mine up yet, the PIAA relays I have can't handle the power so I need to pick up a new one..you got me excited though

Haha the only reason I didn't post pics is because I tried taking them with my iPhone and with all the auto settings it came no where near doing the lights any justice.... Still have to digg out the DSLR, moved last week and its tucked away in a box some where, and take some proper pics!

I hve to say the light works great, however I am a little disappointed with a few things.

1- the paint burnt off on half of the light, contacted them to see what they would do about it, they said they would refund me $50...I agreed (still haven't been reimbursed) little did I know at the time that by taking the piece off to get it repainted I would have to redo the silicone as well... not too happy about that.. should have just asked for a new replacement

2- I have been trying to order two 4'' rounds to replace my fog lights... thats been ongoing for a little over two weeks now and I am still waiting for him to get back to me and invoice/ship out a set....

Nothing to do with you Ron, I appreciate what your doing to help us out some, just getting frustrated between the two things is all

Ive been contemplating getting these or just paying extra for rigids...I think that is an example where the other led bars cut corners compared to rigid

At the end of the day I am happy that I went with these, just wish the face plate didn't have the paint burn off otherwise 100% happy with the purchase hence getting (trying) the 4'' rounds from the same guy

The owner, Kevin, just sent me an email to clear everything up, there was a bit of a email mix up and everything has been sorted!

I saw your comment and called the owner, sorry about the confusion and I'm glad everything got sorted. As for the paint issue, it was a batch of lights that the paint was not primed right, but they are all sorted out now and the owner is buying a powder coating machine so there will be no future problems with paint. As for cutting corners, this company does not cut any corners at all. These lights are 1/4 the price of rigids, and these lights also come with a lifetime warranty, fully waterproof, extremely bright, and with unbreakable glass. I just installed two bars on top of the 65ft sport fishing boat I work on. Its all up to you if you want spend a lot more money, but I stand by using these lights and saving a lot of money. I am just trying to help out everyone getting a great led bar for an amazing price.

Also I'm sorry ramrod, if you had any problems you could have let me know and I would have called the owner sooner for you.

I just figured it wasn't your fault so no sense bugging you about it.

That said I am still very happy with the performance of the light itself and excited to get the 4" rounds on there as well!
