at least Miller you will emerge unscathed -- me thinks Isham may not be a trail for those concerned with body damage or h1's...unless a heli is nearby to lift the truck out after corking that trail :)

Just found this thread . . .

Put up an official trail thread if you are serious about leading. You may get more people attending. Unfortunately, I am out for a while.

I am not planning a trip. All I am doing is meeting a group from here out there to assist in running the trail. It is up to you guys to put the trip together and just let me know when to meet everyone there.

Mike how far are you away from this trail? I was looking at it again...I now have front and rear lockers a 4:1 and the rear suspension to handle it Ill disco the front and hope for the best.

B-spec also spotted me through Mottino, he knows my rig now and hes a great spotter. He thinks I can do it, just told me to throw some armor on.

One step closer to doing this trail, I just wanna drop the doors off in a secure place. I would say my rig is ready as is, just want some more armor. Once I get that done I'm in. A realistic goal for me is to tackle this trail in the new year...Maybe 6 months out from now.

No we don't.. It is for Panamint Valley Days this weekend. I am leading the Isham run at 9:00AM and we are also doing a Night run later that night. Should be very interesting indeed.

Hadn't seen that video footage before..... That does look pretty much impassable for an H1 :(

As far as 2:00, It looks like an H1 with rear steer and a quick disconnect on the front drive shaft could probably make that pivot. I'd have to disconnect the front and lock the rear make the turn then crawl back and reconnect the front to get out of there over the bolder in front. The turn would probably require pivoting on the driver's side RPP but that's what they're there for right? Wish i was down there. I'd be tempted to give it a go.
