Hey guys, it must be all the traveling I have been doing lately, but am already getting excited for winter and for things to settle down a bit. I'd love to start organizing a winter snow run with my PNW brethren. So consider this the start of a conversation to determine dates and location. All feedback welcome and hopefully we can find something that works for all of us - I am flexible. Let the discussion begin! :):)

Just heard in the news tonight that some of the ski slopes are opening tomorrow. That means the snow is out there somewhere, just waiting for us. Let's go! :horns:

Hi everyone - Sorry I started this thread and then fell off the Earth - but I am back now, and hoping that the new year brings with it some good outdoor fun! Was looking at the calendar, and let's see if we can all mark our calendars for Saturday, Feb 16th. Hopefully, most of you can make this date work. I am not really sure what places would be best for winter driving, but would be open to any suggestions within 2-3 hours of Seattle. Surely there are some great spots. Anyway, let's see if we can put this thing together. Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday!! DAVE

Hey, good to see you back on. Happy New Year!! I will check my schedule later this week, but I think I already have that day off. We will have to hit up Scarsman for some good ideas of roads to explore. Do we want to bring the sleds again?

I should have my schedule figured out this week. I'll start looking around for something good. Might have to head near the hills, since there hasn't been much, well, any snow down low this year so far.

Hey! What's up guys?! Sorry I dropped off the radar for a while. Been extremely busy and haven't been on H4O for a while. I'll probably have jet lag on Feb 16th since I'll just be returning back home from vacation the night before, so dang it, I might not be able to make this one. :sigh: But I'm open on weekends after then. Where's the snow?

I can't do the 16th. Does anyone know where there is decent snow? We don't really have any around here unless you start up the passes. Been a pretty week winter!

Looks like only Oakley and I were able to make this time work. I'd suggest we plan on another weekend. For now, let's consider this date cancelled. Looks like mountain passes have gotten more snow over the last couple of days - let's hope that February has more coming. Anyone have any suggestions on other weekends you'd like to try? Would love to get something on the calendar. DAVE

I'm a new H3 owner, new to wheeling, offroading, etc but interested in learning. If you guys are planning this as a mild beginner friendly trail run I'm definitely interested in meeting folks and seeing some new scenery! :)
