Hello guys and girls. I wanted to thank EVERYONE that has done business with and supported EH since we started this project. Many of you have given referrals, ordered parts, given me ideas on product, helped advertise, etc. I appreciate all you have done to help out EH over the last couple of years.
The E Commerce business for HUMMER/ Jeep products has gotten very competitive since I started EH. There are quite a few companies out there set up similar to mine. I have always looked for ways to be more competitive and offer products that I can stock (and afford to stock). To be able to compete with those larger parts houses, while retaining the same level of customer service, would require some large changes with EH. Adding a shop, service bays, warehouse, and having the financial support to do so would be the start of that. Over the last few months, I have been looking to partner up with either an investor or shop that is not in the "Corporate America" category. This partner would need to have the same values on customer service, quality parts, with direct vendor/ manufacture relationships.
I have been working with a local shop here in CO. High Country Performance 4X4 has helped me over the last couple of years with some products. They are a family owned business since 1980. They do specialize in a couple of specific platforms such as the TJ/JK market, however, they also stand behind other makes/ models and well. Toyota, Ford, GM, HUMMER are all supported at this shop. I have been in there quite a few times and have seen complete builds with engine swaps to simple modifications. Their techs are trained to support the products they sell. It was also important that they support Tread Lightly, Stay The Trail, and BlueRibbon Coalition as I have done over the years.
I have been given an opportunity to join this growing company and continue doing what I enjoy. The things I have been doing with EH, I'll continue to do with HCP4X4.
EH will be set aside as I will be focusing on my new position with their team. I am excited for this change!!!
What does the mean for current/ future EH customers and support on this forum?
I will still be checking in daily as I do now. Current in-house orders/ back orders will process through EH without interruption. Future orders after this Friday (05/25) will process through HCP4X4. I will still be supporting this forum as always and be able to work with you all still. My contact info will change and will be provide (once available) in this thread and a separate thread that is easier to reference vs reading through all of this.
The same products that I have offered will still be available:
GOBI, ARB, WARN, Viking, SUPERWINCH, PIAA, Rigid, Hella, LightForce, COBRA, FIRESTICK, BFG, Toyo, Nitto, Truck Vault, Rancho, Bilstein, Fox, Magnaflow, XD Wheels, Hutchinson Beadlocks, BMF Wheels, Walker Evans Beadlocks, WeatherTech, Husky, Ventvisor, Rotopax, and GoPro.
I'm sure there are more, but these were the ones off the top of my head. As i get more info on my upcoming changes, I will keep you all posted.
Thank you,
Tim G.
