Nice looking Alpha! I love my wife's Victory Red H3. The color red does = Higher chance of a speeding ticket though lol.

My Alpha was at 24inches when I bought it with the ARB and Warn Winch already on it when I bought it. The ride was fine, but the CV's were binding when trying to turn in a parking space or in a parking lot. On my setup with the ARB and Warn Winch 23 1/4 put the TD 1/2 extended bumpstops at the OEM setup/position. Ride is much improved after dropping it, I can turn, and the CV's no longer bind. It has 295's on it and they barely rub if I go lock to lock.

The aftermarket Chrome stuff is a little overkill, but the OEM chrome and Victory Red looks nice to me. I've also noticed after all the H3's I've seen that the chrome door handles don't seem to stick like the rougher texture black ones.

When I bought my Alpha it also had a muffler delete and I loved how it sounded. My inlaws stopped riding in it after a Disney trip haha so I removed the resonator and put a magnaflow in it's place. It's quieter around town, but under acceleration or rev's it still sounds sick!!

What are the symptoms of a CV binding? I think i may have the same thing happening to me.

Is that bedliner or just black paint?

Wipe new on trim then bedliner on the marker covers and vht nightshades on the markers them selves. I clear coated the bedliner for 2 coats, because I was curious. It made it shine black, and it made it less rough.

Well when the CV binds it will feel like you have a front locker engaged and the steering wheel is going to be very stiff in either direction. After I experienced that feeling with mine I checked the CV angles and they were pretty much maxed out. I then measured and just as I thought I was at 24 inches. Lowered it down to 23 1/4 and after driving it around to get everything settled in it was still at 23 1/4 and the CV angles were much much better. The only issue I have now is due to the wider tires on the OEM rims causing the inside of the tire to barely rub the sway bar. I had the same issue with all my lifted Jeep's so I'm used to not going full lock to lock with the steering wheel.

I'd inspect the CV Angle and lower it back down to 23 1/4 to 23 1/2 IMHO your CV shafts will thank you along with the rest of the front suspension parts.

I checked them and it looks good. It's just the rubbing that is getting me all worried. But my motorsports wheel spacers will fix that.

it's going to be a long night.

Ended up scratching the paint on two of the emblems. I broke two plastic scrapers in the process, and i succumbed to using a flathead. Mistake on my part. I heated the emblems up with a blowdryer till they burned to the touch and some were easy, but dang some of these took 5-10mins to get off constantly heating and scraping through the glue.

The bedliner looks good with a quick clear coat. It's less if a gray and more of a black. But it keeps the roughness. It seems to clean more easily as well.

The black-out has begun.

Goo gone, a rag, a blow dryer, and a credit card will not get this stuff off. Anyone know what I should do? I'm stuck.

He's trying to get the emblem goop off. I'm guessing that's the rear H3 emblem that he scratched the paint on. All I can tell you is goof off, but use sparingly it will take the paint off, if you rub it hard. That stuff comes of you just need a rag and a lot of cleaner wax, and lots of patience. Looking good!! I may paint my side markers because of you.

Oh, I must have skipped back to the first page instead of just the precious page on my phone. When I took mine off, they looked just like that and I got it all off but wasn't at all concerned with scratching since it was being Line-Xed. Hope whatever you find works out well.

It's too late for that haha, i did want to ask you though, what do you have on your tow hooks? Theres no way plasti-dip could handle pulling so many people out!

Haha I plasti dipped them too... They do tear but only on the inside of the d ring. So it's not really noticeable, I would paint them but I'm too lazy haha

some gasoline followed by soapy water. I didn't want to go this route, because it is the most risky. But it seems like it's working well.

It's not perfect, but it turned out nicely. There are a couple where a corner is a little off or you can see the old double sided tape.

Went to put in my new radio, but my mechanic forgot to pull the harness that came with it. So I couldn't install it. I'll have to wait until tomorrow.

I thought you lived in Alabama. Are you gonna leave the door handles chrome?

I do live in alabama, and no i'm not. I just don't know how to take them off. I know there is one bolt where the door latches, but other than that I have no clue. If I can't take them off then I'll just have to tape them off.
