30-spline open diffs are everywhere in eBay for under $100. Just make sure you get one with the 4-series offset....3.73-5.38.
Never tried gutting a LSD...let us know how that works.

I'll see how it drives with the lsd...mechanically speaking it should be an open carrier now since it doesn't have the springs and plates to create the pressure. But we'll see...and I'm just gonna wait run the truck as is probably not wheel...but just drive it on the streets since the wife's sedan isn't as roomy as panzer. And in the mean time id get the ox locker and shaft In the coming months and have them installed then probably do an axle overhaul then since right now I'm using everything it had in...which looks in pretty good shape bearings and seal. The guy from who I purchased it claimed he had only put on about 7k miles since he had it oveehauled with HD bearing and seals. So my overhaul kit is intact.

So panzer roars once again...more like squeals but anyways first SAS Test ride...still need to get and alignment, and install the ram cylinder...nees to get it smoke so I can get my tags, take it to the muffler shop so they cut my muffler off and run a pipe to the hmmvw' s exaust pipe, and finally weld me a rear bumper.

I went ahead and made my version of removeable side steps to help my short mom and cubs to get in the truck since it us much taller, as well welded a 1/4" steel panel to the rocky slider so they indeed slide.

Well made some progress in the rear bumper...cutting pod holes for the hitch and back up leds is a unique experience to say the least. One more pod to go tomorrow...and to work on the bottom panel. Hope it is strong enought to hold a 40"s and the hmmvw spare tire carrier thing.

Bumper Project Done, now there's Plenty of Room and enought strength to get that 35"s up and down without popping a fart, it should make the 40"s to be lift and lower just as easy.
1/4" armored bumper with a Hmmvw's Rino tire carrier, and a left working recovery point, and additional backup light pods.

So after researching both air kits one by firestone and another by air lift I decided to go with air lift airbag kit...it seems like their customer service is far better than firestone and quality of either producy are the same...however the warranty for air lift is a bit better imo than fire stone as well the price for air lift is about $50 less than fire stone one, depending on which one u want. And since we already have big red with a firestone kit I decide to give it a go to the air lift so we have review and input on both kits.
Air Lift 57275 LoadLifter 5000 Series Rear Air Spring Kit as well got the day start cradle cups. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CFQ2XM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_FwbvzbPWFPC01

Daystar, Air Bag Cradle designed for full suspension travel, Fits All 6" diameter convoluted Air Bags, fits any full size of half ton truck, 2/4WD, KU09140BK, Made in America https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0084ROJBM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_0FcvzbFQRAYFQ

Also ordered the Polyurethane part from Siberiabn Bushing, Rear suspension, Spring, rear Shackle, Upper mount...since after 110k miles my oem ones are shot. Let see if they are better than stock.
PU Bushing 32-06-1707 Rear Susp. Leafspring, Upper arm H3, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00VHWYVLO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_2GcvzbFZ50M0K

Hopefully all this helps with panzer's saggy rear it developed after my monster spare tire carrier rear bumper.

No more saggy rear end...have about 40 psi in the bag that level it to 30" fender to hub...ill do the other side tomorrow and see how it rides...and adjust the psi from there.

Yeah will do, right now they are going to be individually operated...but thinking on having them plugged together so they act as reservoirs when either side is conpressed.

Planning a 4,117 miles round trip to Mexico that should be taking place sometime in the coming 3/4 months...this would be the longest road trip I have yet made, is there anything I should plan ahead and keep in mind aside from the big obvious, I am painting panzer to some other less attention attracting color...I've done a 2,730 miles trip from N.Y. to Cali, so this one should setting a new personal record, anybody here have done an out of country road trip ?!

Being American flashy isn't the issue as much as is it being mikitary like. I would have the attention of the police, the military, the cartels, and the civis, to worry about. But anyways I'm using this trip as an excuse to do my long wanted camo pattern which is kryptek probably would go down there with a flat black or flat german grey. And do the typhon once I'm back.
