Yep..... She was a Limited Edition1973 XB GT Ford Falcon Hardtop (2 door Coupe) with a 351 motor. (No supercharger in real life. Even in the movie it was just for show)

Apparently Mad Max 4 was all set to be filmed @ Silverton also, but with 2 consecutive years of flood in the outback town it was too green for them to shoot it (needed that desert apocalypse type setting) so late last year they shipped the MM4 vehicles to Namibia and will start fiming there in the next couple of months.

The Bar (Pub) was right next to where the Mad Max car.

We didn't go in as we needed to get to Broken Hill to find accomodation for the night (which is very difficult as the miners have booked out most places)

I can imagine how it works though (probably similar to phillipines where the strippers pick up their tips off the floor)

Not quite the same but Gibson Exhaust does an extreme system for the H3 (I fitted their Dual Stainless system to my I5)

Ha !! Not fair, you've seen me on the Gateway Motorway stuck in traffic (Makes me mad max for sure) but I prefer "The Night Rider", he was in the Monaro !!!!

(to explain to our friends across the pond: In Australia, you are either a FORD Fan, or a GM Holden fan. The Monaro was a GM Holden product. The Mad Max film was made by Victorians where the FORD plant is located so you see they wrote into the film that the hero drives the FORD and the Villain drove the Evil GM which is made in another state. A new version of the Holden Monaro was made, it was even sold in the USA as the latest Pontiac GTO)

Here is a tribute video of the Night Rider
