Exhaust leak

I've got a leak at the flange where the resonator section connects with the pipe coming down from the manifold. The spot that's basically under the doors. Is there supposed to be a gasket there? I haven't taken it apart, but I went by Advance Auto Parts today and looked for one on the shelf and didn't see anything. I asked the counter guy and he showed me the diagram they have on their system. It doesn't indicate a gasket there. I wanted to check if there were any slick fixes before I cut this section out and sleeve it.

perhaps a dumb question, but did you try tightening the bolts? Don't recall a gasket there.

Are you talking about where the pipe connects? Three nuts? If so there is a donut gasket. I will see if I can find it online. I bought one from rock auto. It was cheap
