It does look like the OEM bushing but that brings about a drawback too - it would be rubber and not poly. I've gone through about four rubber mounts on the passenger side and have not had to replace the poly mount. Only gone through two rubber ones on the driver's side. The full bracket is only about $70 so you're not saving that much but you're gaining a lot of hassle in the replacement.

I would look to aftermarket poly replacements.

It is for the center diff bushing, but yeah, it's rubber so it's not going to last super long, especially if you offroad a lot. I have to replace mine this weekend since the last trip I took tore it all up. Immediately before that the bushing looked perfectly fine.

Is there any one that makes the poly bushing set for the center. If I had the dimensions I could buy some polyurethane an turn one up at home. thank you

sorry, I focused on the word "axle" in the description but the same thing applies - the rubber will break. I had one last one week before needing replacement. Been on the PreferredChassis one since Nov 2011 and it's holding up fine. I've taken it out twice to inspect in that time for wear and tear as well, and found none.

Either PreferredChassis replacement crossmember or the Outfitter Design bushing kit (which is the one I'm actually right in the middle of doing, I've replaced the outer bushings and now I'm taking a break to lower my core temperature before I go back out in the 100+ degree heat to do the center bushing). There aren't any other options that I am aware of.

I just installed the Scorpworks/Preferred Chassis crossmember with bushing. Install was easy. Great quality.

I bought the outfitter design bushing kit. Was a blast. To be honest i am no mechanic but I'm pretty good with my hands. Took longer to burn out the center bushing. Then the metal sleeve removal was a pia. Did this all in my driveway. Having a hydraulic press would of been nice.
