Can you post more info on your cb setup?
It's a Cobra Ultra 19 III cb, don't remember brand of coax cable. Made a spare tire bracket to hold the firestick. The ground is ran straight to the nearest ground spot, and the power is ran and connected to the battery. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Started and finished my cargo box, shovel mount and my tray table, today. Along with unclogging all the drain tubes on Otxoa, meant to do everything in a couple hours but the drain tubes are a lot harder with just one person. But here are the pics.

You need to wire the cb directly to the battery, anything else and you're going to get noise issues. You shouldn't even need the noise filter unless something is wrong in the engine bay.

That includes running both the positive AND the negative directly to the battery terminals btw. Don't run your negative to a ground point, it doesn't seem like it would but it does make a difference.

Your wiring looks fine. I think your problem is most likely where you physically are running the wires.
You have to stay away from the master brake cylinder. It has a motor that pressures the brake fluid that is notorious for inducing sound onto any wires run near it.
I connect my CB to the back of my power outlets in the dash and haven't had a problem. And I don't use a filter either.

That's exactly what it's connected to.

Did some more stuff over the weekend. Was tired of the brushed steel look on the interior so I wrapped and painted it.

Then I cut the muffler off, sounds perfect for what I want. Put a kill switch to my cb. Also switched all the white lights to the gauges are now red. That right there was a scary experience. But it works

I'm very happy with it, now I just got to figure out my melted rear bumper situation, lol. I'm thinking about diamond plate. But seriously Arlock, thanks for the help in my decision making, on cutting my muffler off, it sounds pretty damn good now.

Currently I'm making a jerry can carrier for the back door. What I thought was simple and easy turned out to be kinda hard. Needless to say don't try and drill metal with a cordless drill unless you have more then one battery
