what percent did you do on your windshield, Im thinking of doing 15% on mine

35% and 5% strip
I do my own tint so I've experimented a bit and it looks murdered out since I have 5% on all of my other windows

oh nice, ya i have 5% on all my windows and then i did 20% on the windshield and it looks badass but its wayyyy to dark for off roading so im gunna step up to 35% then since based off urs it looks dark just how i want it.

Yeah man I tried 45% and it looked dumb because it looked like a mirror but the 35% looks great because it looks black. I feel you offroad tho[emoji23] it's hard enough as it is with 5 on the sides

Got to visit my rig from college. Sadly I didn't take her with me but maybe I will in the future, still a little muddy from a few months ago wheeling [emoji28]

Ok so within the past few days I checked off 2 major things I had planned for my rig.
2.5" lift shackles in the rear

Also redid my herculiner on the fenders because it looked like **** and faded, I used a small brush and dabbed it on and it looks 1000x better and the coverage is much better and even. Thanks to ZN2RC on the forum for suggesting this method. Now I just have to make sure it won't fade by clear coating it.

Finally, installed a 8000lb synthetic winch I bought on a recent road trip to Vermont

Extremely happy I was able to finish installing all of these things before I go back to school [emoji28]
Oh and another small thing, added spot LEDs under the winch plate and got rid of the LEDs in the fogs. Still oem wiring, just need to delete the old fogs.

dude you gotta get the windshield done in one piece of tint!

Ik bro [emoji23] I've tried 3 times, it's a pain! I do my own tint so that's the problem lol I'm going to before summer tho

That lines from the 5% sun strip half way down the shield

You don't even know [emoji23][emoji23] it sucks, I'm pretty good at doing normal Windows but shrinking the film without leaving any bubbles or cracks is a pita, it's a work f art to get the windshield perfect haha but I'm gonna give it another shot in the future, shops around here won't do my windshield that dark anyway [emoji28]

New motor getting dropped in! Brand new :) also had cracked headers & broken motor mounts so will be replacing those too.
Also bought a rugged ridge snorkel I will be retrofitting and am planning on doing a body lift as well.

Awesome looking rig bro. Btw, how much $$$ you paid for the motor?

Just to update this thread a bit, finally got around to a custom snorkel, limb risers, mounted a hi jack, and got led tail lights and guards. Planning on a 1" body lift soon, arb awning, and roof shower. I'm gonna strip all of the herculiner and redo it with raptor liner, I don't recommend herculiner it fades and has too rough of a texture (my opinion)

Snorkel install:
Used 3" flexihose and a 4" to 3" 90 degree silicone coupler, fit to the air box with minor modification. Used metal zip ties or that ever their called to connect everything. For the snorkel, it is a rugged ridge jk snorkel. Pretty easy to do imo just hope you don't mind cutting into the body underneath the fake air box. Also had to dremel out a hole in the fake air box to allow the snorkel to breathe. The mounting bracket that comes with the snorkel can be cut so you can use self tappers and mount it inside the door/on the pillar.
