Can't take credit for this, as my good friend, Larry, started working on this before I could. (Been slammed at work and went on a weekend trip to Tennessee.)

Here is the added fiberglass on the back for additional strength.

First coat of fiberglass laid down. (Big thanks to my friend, Larry, the guy in the pictures doing all the work, haha.)

Doing some test fitting on one side. The housing is a little too thick in a couple of spots, so they are getting sanded. Hopefully get these nailed and installed within a week.

Also, are you planning on doing something with the foglights? I think the led fogs in that other thread would look great with your setup.[emoji482][emoji482]

Unfortunately, everything is still a long way from being finished. This was all for test fitting, which they didn't fit 100% right.

The driver-side headlight will hopefully be finished this week, depending on if we can everything ironed out on the passenger side.

And yep, I have LED foglights ready to be installed. I'm currently trying to get some brackets made for me. If I don't get them soon, I'm going to attempt to just fab some up myself, with the help of a friend and his welder.

Trimming my grille to fit the new housings.

Tinted the side markers with this spray from O-Reilly's. I've got "super-bright LEDs" to put in the side markers as well.

Assembled! Everything is wired up and working, except the high beams. I've got some homework to do on relays and wiring to figure out how to get the highs to work. The truck alternates hot for the high beams while the headlight alternates ground for high beams.

Big ups to my homie Larry for his knowledge and hard work, selflessly helping a brotha out.

The relay's should be easy. Use two relay's per headlight, wire the hot wire from the factory harness to the relay and wire the ground for the LED headlamp through the switched part of the relay. Then when you switch between high and low beam the corresponding relay will close the circuit to ground. All you're doing with the relay is switching on/off the ground wire from the headlight instead of the positive wire.

Though I think it's highly irregular they have one hot feed and two grounds for the LED headlights. Even China isn't that backwards... North Korea maybe...
