Looking for Stereo harness.

2008 H3 Alpha with the Monsoon system. Factory touchscreen w/nav.

I want to put a different head unit in. Local Stereo shop wants $170 for a frickin' harness alone.

I've been doing a lot of reading and I'm getting different results.

Does anyone have a link to the correct PAC harness that I need to put a head unit in? Thanks!

Check on Crutchfield's website. I just installed a pioneer avic 7100nex in my h3 that I bought from them with all required harnesses and the module to retain my onstar functionality. Trouble free install! Works as advertised.

I used the Metra GMOS-4 (for Monsoon/Onstar/warning chimes).

If you don't mind getting rid of the chimes the gm4004 on amazon is 4$ if I remember correcty

Does that one work with the Monsoon amp?

Yes, my monsoon system still works properly.

Go with the metra, it works with the monsoon system and everything else will still work the same as before. It only took me a few minutes to connect everything to the pioneer harness and it just plugs directly into the h3.

No it does not.

RP5-GM11 is the harness I purchased. It was $170 at my local Stereo shop, but $95ish on Amazon.

It keeps everything for the H3, including the Monsoon system.
