Welcome from another 06 H3 owner who has basically rebuilt the entire truck.

Understood. From what I recall, GM changed the computers in '08. After that they were V8 compatible. The '06 needed the original PCM to talk to the '06 BCM for the truck interior components (this is another discussion entirely if you want the odometer to keep working.)

If doing a V8 swap in an '06, be sure to check your computer compatibility. I ran into issues when researching it for my rig, and didn't want to run 2 computers. I hear that it's possible I. The '06, but for me no shops locally could/would tackle it.

Check out the valve cover/PCV condition. This got clogged up in my 2006/I5 and cost me my original engine and complicated my engine rebuild. Didn't realize it until after the fact.

The Adapters I got off of Etsy. 4H3Stuff (3439546378) They have been on for 1 yr with no issues.

I used SUPAREE. Relatively straight forward installation & came with everything but the polarity inverters. ACER 4LO has some really good 'How To' videos on the process.

I'm about to RAPTOR part of my rig. Was advised by a professional paint/body man to use the larger kit that comes with its own spray gun vs the individual rattle cans. You'll get much better results. Set pressure between 30-50psi. The further back you spray from, the finer the texture will be.

The rig is nice, but I LOVE the tag!
