We need your help! We need ALL our members to come out and help deliver toys from the dealership to the Toys for Tots Warehouse (location to be announced later)!

WHEN: Saturday December 17, 2011

WHERE: Classic Chevrolet, Grapevine, Texas

TIME: 1 pm.

Please RSVP so we know to expect you!

Classic Chevrolet is counting on us to deliver all the toys they collect from customers and employees! They are going to have a full size Chevy pick up on the show room floor for people to donate toys! Hopefully they will have that and then some by the time December 17 rolls around!

We all know what an important and successful program Toys for Tots has become.

To kick off the campaign this year we will have the Marines at the Chili Cook Off at the former Classic Chevrolet dealership on TUES. NOVEMBER 8, 2011 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Please drop by, enjoy some chili and refreshments and personally thank the Marines for all that they do!

Since we have so many members that have served I can’t think of a better way to say thank you for all they do, protecting our country and helping children!

Please plan on being in the convoy, donating your time at the warehouse (contact me for details if interested), donating toys or writing a check to show our support of this cause.

The Marines do an awesome job of playing Santa each year to many children that might otherwise not know the joys of Christmas.

If we each play a small part in this endeavor it will make a lot of children happy, and it will give you the satisfaction of knowing you helped!

It is nice to have so many offers of other trucks to drive. If my truck is not back together I will take you up on it. Just not sure which one.:)

I think I'm going to be free. If either of the brothers need a driver so their H1 can represent, I'm here to help. I can probably return it to you by April.

Unfortunately.....I am lacking both time and a HUMMER (for the rest of this month anyway) and will not be able to participate.

Someone else will have to wear the Santa suit this year............Perhaps you can wrangle Steve#1 into service.

As for the Brothers Grimm..........One day fellahs, one day.............:)

Candi Im smacking my head into my desk right now haha. Last year the toys drive was too early for me to make it this year its the day after I get in but I bought a plane ticket instead of driving cuz I thought I would be missing it. I seriously messed up on this one.

I talked to TXH3T (Chris) last night. He just finished his finals, cancelled his plane tix and is driving back to Dallas! He hopes to be awake enough to join us!

Plan on meeting around 1pm at Classic Chevrolet, Grapevine, Texas.

Please line up on the drive next to the Service Dept. (they close at 1pm on Saturdays)

See You There!
Candi

Mission Accomplished. Classic Chevy collected a lot of toys and with a lot of creative packing, Jay (H1 Ghostrider) stuffed my truck full of toys and Steve#1, had the help of his crew, Seth and Sim packing Steve's H3. Pix tomorrow!

Kudos to Steve and his boys for finding time to help us once again this year and to Jay for helping us and decorating Solar for me!

Steve let us know when you get those new tires and we will make a run up to Bridgeport!

I'm glad things worked out for us so we could help. The boys thought it was fun. Always nice to see you and nice to meet Jay.
