This one was of the loops I wanted to run earlier this Summer with a group. Snowmelt played a big role in holding us off...along with other trails we wanted to run on a 3 to 4 day trip.

So, with the fall colors starting to change the Aspens, we're going to head up Sun. morning.

Going to meet in Baily around 10AM.

Meeting in Baily and running Red Cone down into Montezuma.
Deer Creek/ St John's to North/Middle Fork to Boreas Pass.
That takes you back to 285 for the ride back to Denver.

Should be a full day. Trails are moderate to difficult. Red Cone is the difficult part on a couple climbs and 2 downhills are pretty loose. rear locker is a good idea and non-stock tires (but not a deal breaker if you have experience wheel'n) I have ran it in a stock H3 without issue 2X and had a stock 4Runner along one time too.

Geeze Timmy, a little warning next time. lol It takes me awhile to get there.
It's the first day of fall and the equinox so I have to stick with tradition and take the sailboat out and hope to see the sun setting at one end of the lake and turn to see the moon coming up. Really tough to get a picture of that ha ha Winds 10-15 so lake effect will be 15+.
I will watch for a trail report and put that on my list. I was hoping to get a trip up here at anytime but I have a few more things I need to do first. Restocking the H3 and inventorying tools and spares. Installed my rock rings today. Superlift is on the way to the lake............

Bailey gas station 10:00 if anyone is still meeting up with us but has not posted up.

4 JK's and possible FJ. If you're not sure it's us (since many meet at the only station in Baliey) look for Expedition hardware stickers on the 2 silver jeeps.
