Beach Driving

Yes but it has been a while. The last few times for me where South Padre. We had a group run a couple of years back but I could not make it.

Bolivar Peninsula in the Galveston area is fun, unless you flip one of these up and hit it.

Been down South Padre quite a ways. I try to stay away from salt water in my trucks but using rented vehicles works for me.

I do a fair amount of sand driving in AZ but we almost never see water

I have done South Padre all the way to the end of the island, the Boliver Penninsula run, and the Padre Island National Seashore. I could be up for any of them depending on when.

I'm in Port Aransas three to four times a year hanging out at a buddies beach house - we end up cruising the beach, playing soccer and beach volleyball by day and hanging out listening to music and building bonfires at night. Growing up, we used to do the same on Bolivar Island, but Ike pretty much wiped it off the face of the earth so I don't know if anyone goes out there anymore. Port A is a great weekend destination for the summer with 6.3 miles of beach you can drive, camp, etc. on (there are lots of nice hotels down there, too). It's really rowdy for Memorial Day, etc.

I've been wanting to do a NPI run for a while, I hasn't seemed to work out. I've been all the way down a few times in my K5 and my F150 but not in the H3.

Beach driving is fun. There's nothing hard or particularly exciting about it, but it's always a good time.

You must have been at the end of the road down by the ship channel, instead of waaay out on High Island to even see any.

Hwy 87 towards Bolivar on the stretch that is permitted to drive on, all the houses got wiped out years ago.
