It's a Moab Merry Christmas!!!

Well... living near the second ring of tourist he!!, we decided to take a bit of a cruise & get away from the tourons for a few days!

We started thinking about it Friday night & left Saturday morning with a bit of an idea where we were going!

We stopped by Ouray first (ice climbing capitol of the world)

Then headed over to Silverton,

Then stayed the night in Durango & hit Mesa Verde the next day

We both got some good pics & got to check out a place we'd never been

Then after Mesa Verde we headed over to Moab quick, and got a trail run in

(Fins N things is a bit more interesting in the snow!!!)

It was fun getting "first tracks" in Moab!

Then we had to find a "room" for the night... and found a trail near Moab rim, across from Wall Street

Got up this morning & went for a hike

It started snowing right as we got to this cave... it made the angled hike back with Tucker on my back a little interesting!!

Then we had to make a little stop at this exotic resort destination (looks a little odd seeing snow here huh??)

To drop off some Christmas Greetings!

And the suddenly dumping snow was a bit of a showstopper, so we cut the trip a bit short & headed home!

Got home yesterday afternoon... just opened all of Tucker's presents, having a nice quiet Christmas with about 8" of fresh snow here at the house today.
